Last weekend, New Orleanians descended upon Oak Street to celebrate one thing: delicious sandwiches. Dozens of restaurants set up pop-up stands and handed out their own twists on New Orleans’ most famous sandwich, the po-boy.

The dynamic sister duo, CocoRosie performed at Tipitina’s uptown last night to a full house. Opener Kembra made some powerful statements to start off the evening and the sisters delivered an emotional and poetic performance that received praise from all in attendance.
